Q1: How experienced and capable is AOS-EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION CENTRE SDN. BHD.(Roc: 188788-A) in organizing Team Building Training program, Strategic Thinking Skill Development programs, Motivation Camp Event Management Programs and Sports Adventure Tourism (SAT) Programs in Malaysia?

 A1: AOS-Experiential Education Centre Sdn.Bhd. (Roc 188788-A) formerly known as Center for Outdoor Adventure Learning (C.O.A.L.) formed in 1997 have been actively involved in organizing teambuilding programmes, motivation camps, special events, meetings-conventions and sports-adventure tourism program since 1997 till to date (2004). AOS-EEC have a total of ten(10) years of field experience in organizing international standard training camps.Asian Overland Services Tours & Travel Sdn. Bhd. started of as an adventure and eco-based tourism company in 1976 and we have been involved for over 25 years in the outdoor camping business, 4X4 adventure tours, white water rafting, sports adventure tourism and international student exchange programmes. We have evolved into one of the prime Destination Management Company (DMC) in Asia and is now a recognized Professional Conference Organizer (PCO) after having the proven field experience in organizing 37 events from the year 1991-2004. Q2 What are the objectives of AOS-EEC Team Building training programs, Strategic Thinking Workshops, Executive Motivation camps, Adventure Camp, Teen Leadership program, Train the Trainers Program?
  • To develop personal skills and qualities such as leadership, interpersonal skills, self-motivation and enhance TEAM work through TEAM-play, enhance critical thinking, analytical and cognitive thinking skills, empathy and respect towards each other. Training executives and leaders to think out of the box.
  • To promote adventure based active learning programs, and experiential learning program in Malaysia. To light up a sense of adventure and challenge which shape positive character development for all age group.
  • To train existing trainers to be better trainers using the Experiential Learning Cycle and Action Learning techniques. And to enhance the program participants’ vocational skills in experiencing and learning the art of jungle & sea survival skill technique. They will learn from AOS-EEC outdoor instructors the art of survival and outdoor living skill.
Q3 What are the safety measures taken by Asian Overland Services during the teambuilding training program and outdoor camping program?
  • Many people are very concern about their safety during the program. AOS-EEC Camp directors, field trainers, instructors and camp counselors will try their very best to ensure the safety and comfort of the program participants.
  • AOS-EEC Camp Director(s) and field trainers have at least 5-8 years proven field experience in designing training programs, organizing , facilitating and conducting team building, motivation camps, executive team training and student educational programs in Malaysia and Asia.
    One(1) field instructor and one(1) AOS-EEC facilitator will be assign to a group of maximum 10 participants.
  • The AOS-EEC in-house English & Malay speaking instructors and Camp Counselors are well versed in outdoor and indoor skills which were adopted from the American Camping Association (ACA-OLS) outdoor living skill training modules and each have undergone the basic camp-counselor course before being appointed as the camp counselor.
  • The camp Director, instructors & Camp counselors are well verse in Emergency Wilderness First Aid, Outdoor Survival Skills and CPR.
  • The outdoor ropes-courses which involve low, medium and high rope course will be conducted by professionals which have Certified Level III Outdoor Recreation Certificates issued by the Malaysian Government and have over more than five(5) years proven field experience. All the rope-course equipment will be pre-tested by AOSEEC trainers and facilitators.
  • High quality life-preserver with approved carbon-fiber safety helmets will be provided to all participants involve in the sea-kayaking, rafting and other sea-borne activities.
    In case it rains heavily at any of the designated sites, the outdoor program will be conducted indoors at any covered areas such as indoor gymnasium, meeting room, or any covered area which are considered safe and secure. AOS-EEC trainers have over 200 indoor-strategic thinking and problem solving games that can be conducted indoor.
Q4. Who are the qualified trainers and facilitators engaged by AOS-EEC to facilitate, moderate and trained during the training program?
  • 50% of the outdoor-field facilitator comes from the UITM Sports-Science Faculty and each one have gone through various level of training before being appointed as the field facilitators. 30% of the trainers are professionals working full time as teachers, lecturers, engineers and consultant in various field from finance, insurance, computer science and others. 20% of the trainers comes from AOS-EEC in house management staff.
  • The outdoor adventure challenge program which involve high, medium & low ropes courses are conducted by qualified and experienced field-trainers & instructors.
